New for season 2 is that divisions now will be skill based – draft divisions will be available on Tuesday 1st (divisions will be finalized Thursday 3rd).
The actual season is kicking off it’s first match week Monday 7th September – so stay tuned!
The North American section will be postponed for a few weeks until the QuakeCon fever has settled, details will be posted later!
UPDATE:
You can now sign your clan up on the page yourself! http://www.bibsql.com?p=signups
It’s been quiet here for a while, and some fans must have thought: let’s do something that’s worth posting about on Holysh1t! Well here you go:
the Clanbase Fall 2009 Cup Season!

This is an event spread from September to December to keep kids away from school and husbands from their wives… in short: nothing but good stuff! Several games will have several cups and competitions in the form of OpenCups and EuroCups.
For Quake Live this means that some will be lucky to be invited into a EuroCup and others will battle their way to the top – or fail miserably, ragequitting all over the place! – in the OpenCups.
So what’s going on?
EuroCup XX will feature a 1on1 invite-only cup. Make sure to follow this, as much drooling will be going on, even before we lowskillers can lay hands on the feast of demos that will no doubt be made available.
In the form of OpenCup, all gametypes get to see the daylight: 1on1, TDM, CTF & CA
Signups go until September 13th, but there’s no reason to hesitate any longer!
GL to all participants!
