The more the merrier, but this time with an added value!
Right, unless you’ve lived under a rock this weekend, or got a little feverish like me and as such missed out on the semis and finals – thank you demos! – you already know the contents of this post. But for those who don’t, here’s a little roundup of what happened on Saturday and Sunday 23rd/24th in the last rounds of the Intel Extreme Masters 4 European championships.

The Group matches have finished, and of the 16 great players attending the IEM 4 EU championship finals at Cologne, only 8 can go forward into the playoffs.
Not too long ago, ZeroQL made Unagi (watch in our specials section), a very nice fragmovie consisting of Duel frags, enriched with some things from the other gametypes and some comedy about what unagi really is.
ZeroQL is now collecting frags for Unagi 2: The Return of The Power, a frag-compilation movie with user submitted demos, sort of like our own Moment of Fame series.
While we’re all waiting for the IEM4 EU championships to start at 14:00 CET on ESL TV (HS-TV mirror) it’s best to do some reading to pass time.
Several people have been questioned on how they prepared for IEM, what their views are on the past year and upcoming year, and if you haven’t read up on that, now would be a good time, as while IEM lasts 4 days, it’s not 24/7 live on tv, so gotta fill up the gaps with that and some other views on what 2010 can bring. 😉

3 Weeks into 2010 already sees an awesome event take place within 2 days! ESL announced the groups for the IEM4 EU Championships at Cologne, Germany and the skill level of all contestants is over 9000 combined so that promises a load of entertainment from Thursday 21st until Sunday 24th!

Famous last words by the guy behind the wheel of the Titanic when he got instructions to ignore that petty white spot at the horizon and stay on course! Since then, many captains have come and gone during many nation cups, and Clanbase’s 13th episode of their nation cup is no different!
Many things happened that delayed this project till today so apologies for that, but it’s here!
We’ve had some very good responses to our first Moment of Fame movie by Snelvovve, who sadly had little to no time at all to continue working on the 2nd episode.
Luckily, I did have some free time left and was interested in picking up the project! So finally after idling forever, Holysh1t “Moment of Fame” 2 is here!

Now, while I usually don’t post about seeds in general as I find it less interesting as it’s just a prelude to the drawn groups that actually have a meaning, the 4 groups of seeds for the IEM4 EU championship already raise alot of discussion and speculation of “what if” and “suppose that” regarding which players will be drawn together.
