The IEM4 World Championship games are soon to begin, and the attending players are all touch-worthy (Just stay above the belt, when reaching out for them 😉 )
The Asian IEM4 has been decided earlier on in February, and ESL finally has released the list of players who confirmed they would come, as on last notice, Asian finalist [sweden] proZaC was not going to make it and is replaced by [usa] dkt.
BiBS is happy to announce the 3rd season of their Capture The Flag league. Both previous seasons had a good turn up with 6 divisions playing for promotion or relegation.
Signups have already started the 16th of February and will be open until March 10th, after which one week of seeding will happen, with optional comments of the signed up clans themselves.

Where the IEM is located in Europe, North America and Asia, the Intel Game On Cups take place in 10 countries and regions in Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Loads of battles have been fought and the finals are coming up.Didn’t I say I like frag movies? Yes I did! And a shiny one is seeing the light of day!
From zEvon’s hand we will find ourselves watching a very nice Quake Live movie called Europe 2010.
The trailer specifications don’t lie: capped at 300 fps, rendered at 60 fps for a whopping 30 hours using tools like Sony vegas 9 64Bit, Adobe After effects cs4, Vdub 64bit, Trapcode Plugins, Protools 8, … that promises some good stuff for the final movie.
But all this cannot happen without your help! We need you to send demos to euroquakelive@hotmail.com, just like with our own series of Moment of Fame, but with some differences:
I love fragmovies! Either they are packed with nice sequences of several players hitting incredible frags, or just a compilation with very fun moments where a flag gets returned and a cap is just made right on the buzzer.
All that with nice transitions, some good music in the background and you’re good for some “ooh!” and “haha i lol’d” or “wtf? wish I could do that” for the upcoming minutes.
In our previous post to remind you all of the upcoming ESL World Championship, there were still some gaps to be filled by the finalists of the IEM4 Asian Championship which took place last weekend.
The qualifier rounds have completed, so the CB Quake Live crew worked out the groups for both the Capture The Flag and Team Deathmatch nations cups.Two things coming up, and one in preparation of the other, namely the Asian Intel Extreme Masters playoffs, which will present us with the candidates for the IEM4 World Championship!
First of all, 8 players will be attending the Quake Live competition at the Taipei Game Show in Taiwan. A prizepot of $4000 is up for grasp and 3 slots are available for entering the World Championships later on.
