Quake.cz’s TDM Euro Open cup has started a while ago and quite a few matches have been played already.

Elite Squad, MiEL GAMiNG, have signed up to compete in this Quake Live Euro Open cup.
Frag Dominant decided to host a 2v2 Quake 3 cup. Together with this cup, Frag Dominant interviewed 3 well known players – 
Brian ‘DKT‘ Flander, Chance ‘chance‘ Lacina & Shane ‘Rapha‘ Hendrixson – about the cup, Quake 3 and also the future of Quake with Quake Live.
While Quake Live is still in the beta phase, Quake.cz is organizing a Team Death Match Nationscup.
We are happy to see some Quake Live cups are finally on the way, first with the LLL duel cup and now a Team Death Match Nations cup. We can’t deny Quake Live still misses a lot of competitive features, e.g. lockteams, timeout, … We can only hope the cup will run smooth as competitive gameplay is important for a game’s path of life.
The developers of Quake Live want to organize a crash test. They want as many people online as possible, probably to test if their servers can keep up.
This test will be during prime time in Europe, at 21.00cet to be exactly. Since people in the USA will be at school or work, I guess the Europeans will have to do an extra effort to make this crash test work.
update: It is now possible to change the crosshair colors by using the menu or console settings! This method is a lot easier than the method described below.
