Europe 2010 Quake Live – Teaser
Didn't I say I like frag movies? Yes I did! And a shiny one is seeing the light of day!
From zEvon's hand we will find ourselves watching a very nice Quake Live movie called Europe 2010.
The trailer specifications don't lie: capped at 300 fps, rendered at 60 fps for a whopping 30 hours using tools like Sony vegas 9 64Bit, Adobe After effects cs4, Vdub 64bit, Trapcode Plugins, Protools 8, ... that promises some good stuff for the final movie.
But all this cannot happen without your help! We need you to send demos to euroquakelive@hotmail.com, just like with our own series of Moment of Fame, but with some differences:
Moment of Fame 3 – Trailer
I love fragmovies! Either they are packed with nice sequences of several players hitting incredible frags, or just a compilation with very fun moments where a flag gets returned and a cap is just made right on the buzzer.
All that with nice transitions, some good music in the background and you're good for some "ooh!" and "haha i lol'd" or "wtf? wish I could do that" for the upcoming minutes.
Europe Quakelive Democall – Community Movie
zEvon is looking for people to turn in demos from any gametype.
He's aiming for a movie like the well-known Annihilation, made by own-age.
Unagi 2, a work in progress
Not too long ago, ZeroQL made Unagi (watch in our specials section), a very nice fragmovie consisting of Duel frags, enriched with some things from the other gametypes and some comedy about what unagi really is.
ZeroQL is now collecting frags for Unagi 2: The Return of The Power, a frag-compilation movie with user submitted demos, sort of like our own Moment of Fame series.
Holysh1t “Moment of Fame” #2
Many things happened that delayed this project till today so apologies for that, but it's here!
We've had some very good responses to our first Moment of Fame movie by Snelvovve, who sadly had little to no time at all to continue working on the 2nd episode.
Luckily, I did have some free time left and was interested in picking up the project! So finally after idling forever, Holysh1t "Moment of Fame" 2 is here!
Arenas: Quake 3 based movies
Tritin Multimedia is the umbrella name for the 2D/3D graphic design and animation hobby projects of Joe Goss.
I never heard of the guy, until several months ago, he and his team started making Arenas: The Episodes, a short series of animation movies, which follow the evolution of the Quake III Arena universe in a recreation of the Quake 3 Arena and Doom 3 worlds. That already sounds awesome! 
Tritin just posted their newest episode EA7: Scrimmage on various channels like YouTube (Playlists > Arenas: Story of the Gladiators) and Own3d so make sure to check it out! If you haven't heard from them before, well, now's the time to catch up!
