Update: ESAGamer.com to add Quake Live
A new multigaming tournament provider called ESAGamer.com has added Quake Live to it's website after making a post on ESR. Of course people immediately requested Quake Live to be added, which the site owner has now done. The site is still preparing for it's launch, expected somewhere in January, but it's possible to reserve your nickname already to get you going as soon as the site goes live.
Quake Live Daily Cups
In the past few months, a number of individuals in the community has discussed, planned, and tested what we all hope will bring additional energy to our beloved duel scene in Europe.
FACEIT and Kevin "strenx" Baeza are proud to officially launch a brand new series of daily cups:
Starting this month, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will feature two cups running concurrently each day. Each cup will be capped by Faceit-Rank, meaning you can join the cup only if your skill is lower or equal to the value (you can always join higher ranked cups). The prize pool will be 10$ per cup, distributed among the first places, for a total of 400$ sponsored by strenx’ project donations.
ClanBase TDM Eurocup XXVI
Clanbase opened the sign-ups for the EC26 (for those who didn't want to bust their brain over XXVI) and they have recently made a post about the map pool. Sign-ups will stay open until the 9th of September. More notable is that the mappicks will be done by a public poll, supervised by chubz. Group stage games will be played in a Bo3 (Best of 3) format, from the playoffs on, games will be Bo5.

QuakeCon CTF open finals finished
The QL CTF Open have just been played and the victor of this year has been known. It was a fierce fight between ROOF and DFM. DFM worked his way back up the loser bracket into the finals where they had to face off against the team of Rapha. The finals consisted of a Bo5 format, with ROOF getting 1 point ahead due to the fact they went through the winner bracket undefeated.
