House of Quake CA 2v2 and Duel last rounds!

About 4 months ago, the House of Quake leagues started and their most prominent gametype was Clan Arena in a 2vs2 and 3vs3 setup! But a duel competition also was available for those who fancy 1v1 mano-a-mano action!

3vs3 Clan Arena
Whoops, no last rounds there as they just entered the playoff stage! Awesome stuff going on in 3 on 3 CA action. Follow it all on the CA 3on3 page!

But on to more urgent matters:

2vs2 Clan Arena
Now Thursday the 8th of July, both semi finals will be played in this 2 on 2 CA league. At 20:00 CET, meK^ will take on PBJ and later at 21:00 skzi will face +fwd. After both semis, the final will be played (estimated to be around 22:00 CET)
Both semis are Bo3 and the main final will be a Bo5.

A 2nd season has been announced already for which you can sign up!

Duel
With just a few more games to go, the semi finals are creeping upon us. Nonetheless, for duel as well, the 2nd season has been announced and is open for registration, so sign up while you can!

BiBS announces Season 3 Playoffs

Both the EU and NA multi-division groupstage have come to a conclusion and both continents will see a playoff system take place!

PAINE explains:
This is how we put up the playoffs...

For the European teams: two clans from each group - 2 groups per division - advance to the playoffs, in two tiers. The upper tier contains the clans from division 1 to 3, and the lower tier the clans from division 4 to 6.
The NA structure is a bit different, find out more on their announcement.

Playoffs are scheduled to be played on May 30, so that means a very busy Sunday early-evening as games start from 17:00 CET up to the final which is scheduled around 21:30 CET.

We all hope many teams will heed the call and show up for some exciting Capture the Flag action!

BiBS S03 groups and roster!

Some time ago we posted about the announcement of Bring it Back Safely Season 3 and a good 45 days later, with somewhere in between two drafts of possible groups seeding, the guys from BiBS have released the final groups and match rosters for their 3rd Season of Capture The Flag!

The Europeans are divided into 6 divisions, each having an A and B group, with each holding 5 to 6 clans. This combines to a big 5 weeks of non stop CTF action and that's exactly what we need as TDM has had it's fair share of being the dominant gametype for too long already.

The North American league features 3 divisions, also each with an A and B group, holding 4 to 5 clans.

Week 1 starts on Monday, March 29th so that's today for both EU and NA locations!

Promoting community efforts is a noble thing. Therefore it is required to publish about as many competitions as possible, just to keep all your free time occupied by playing Quake Live!

And speaking of "keeping busy", that's exactly what the House of Quake tries to do with their 3 leagues for Quake Live: Duel, 2vs2 Clan Arena and 3vs3 Clan Arena.

BiBS Season 3 announced!

BiBS is happy to announce the 3rd season of their Capture The Flag league. Both previous seasons had a good turn up with 6 divisions playing for promotion or relegation.

Signups have already started the 16th of February and will be open until March 10th, after which one week of seeding will happen, with optional comments of the signed up clans themselves. Divisions will be announced in the week of March 17th and first matchweek is estimated to start on Monday, March 29th.

Both the European and the North American League will have this schedule, so if you are clanless, gather two friends and a monkey and sign up!
(remember that before you can be added to a team, you as a player have to register yourself also!)

ps: admins have announced they're still working on getting that last crucial match of last European season played: yes, the grand final of S02 playoffs between LLL and Yoyotech Cmon teams! Put some effort into that game and let me know so we can stream it!
Update: LLL wins by default over YYT as YYT is on a current break. A bit sad, but let's hope that a great clan like YYT will come back to the scene as an active competing team!

After the successfull ending of the Kuh3Liga Fall 2009 TDM league, the boys are back with a chilly Winter collection for you all to participate in!

BiBS 2: drafts!

BiBS Season 2 is lurking around the corner and the admins have probably gone through a vast amount of Aspirin to figure out where to place everybody in the upcoming season, which is now based on true divisions. (Or a well-meant estimation of it)

There's still some time to complain if you find your clan placed wrong, but you'll probably also have to find someone else who's willing to swap of course.

Confirmation of these BiBS 2 drafts will surely follow within a few days so stay tuned!

A quick look at Division 1 makes we anxious for great demos coming our way, with toppers like LLL, YoYoTech and many others stealing the show already!
