Today, we are proudly announcing the release of something new: The Quake Live Recruitment Center.
The concept is quite simple: if you’re looking for a clan or for players, here’s just the place for all of you !
We had the idea to create a system here at #teams.ql in which anyone can easily find a clan that fits his shoe or find future teammates to complete their lineup!
We support all the teammodes (TDM/CTF/CA) and use a variety of filters to make your search criterias as sharp as possible.
If you have any kind of question, suggestion, etc. just get on #teams.ql on QuakeNet.
I want to particularly thank Lashknife who has done an amazing work coding the whole package !

Some things about the existing config generator could use some improvement (such as it being crammed into a small column) so I decided to renew it and at the same time make it even more userfriendly by adding a couple of features:
- Preview weapon style images (due long time)
- A keyboard that maps your bind layout and allows you to drag/drop to bind keys to input fields. Check it out!
- Expanded the rail options (also have a look at the Rail settings post I made.)
- Generate a subset of values like only controls or only graphical settings

In order to make the Quake Live community strong and long lasting, we need both oldskool and new players to keep playing the game. Many experienced Quake players know their way around the game to have it look and feel exactly as they want. For new players, this is chaos. The flood of questions on the #quakelive irc channel proves this.
We from Holysh1t saw this flood coming and started preparing some important pages to help those players feel comfortable in playing and fine tuning the game.

About a week ago we announced a restyling of this website. We kept our promise and here it is! The old design was limited in options and a reorganization of the layout was badly needed.
Although the new design might still be a bit buggy the first few days, most things should be running smoothly if you’re running IE7+. Bugs in IE6 will be fixed later on.
