Poll: do you want a weekly (duel) cup? + fundraising ideas

A new poll is up, some might have read my ESR reply to a fundraiser thread. I'm all ears for the community and would like to know if you are missing a weekly sunday cup that can attract the right people to keep it interesting.

I have created a fundraiser on indiegogo.com (which is exactly like kickstarter) but have not yet started the project. I'd like to have more details on how to bring this project forward and how to wisely spend the funds so it will benefit the community rather than organizing a weekly pro get-together who always take the money. I have already talked with a few people and have received a wide variety of ideas but I'd like to get more concrete on certain points. I have for example received a suggestion to extend the time between cups and do them monthly instead of weekly, but then there's  still a gap for 3 weeks that perhaps should be filled.
