I followed the holysh1t guide to watch demos and recorded one in practice and i could watch it.
Then i recorded another one online and now i can't watch any demo at all!
I am following the instructions for watching demos that is: start a practice game, /demo filename in console and i get disconnectes with something like "could not find /demos *********dm.73.
It worked well only the first time and now it won't work anymore.
I thought of some mistyping by me and tried it again but i can't watch demos anymore.
If someone got some hint for me: Thank you in advance!

that's strange.
did you maybe change map location for your demo's? i'm only asking because by the error you get, it seems like QL simply can't find the demo.
another possibility could be an incorrect filename, is the file *.dm_73?you might post this in the official Quake Live beta bug report forum.

I don't know what you mean with "map location" as the demos folder was generated automatically after i recorded the first demo and i did not change anything. Now i got two files in that folder and both got the .dm_73 extention.
I have bound keys to "record" and "stoprecord", but this can't be the problem really, because it worked fine to watch my first demo recorded in practice, which i could replay one time.
Filenames are automatically numbered like the first one is demo0000.dm_73. and so on as it seems.Posted 3 years ago # -
You're not alone tryhard, I seem to be getting the same issue now. I attempted to review some downloaded demos, but Firefox crashed mid-load. At first I thought the demos were probably just outdated, but FF crashed again while loading my own demos.
I've already submitted a crash report, but I would take xephyr's advice report it in the Quake Live beta bug report forum. (make sure you're signed into Quake Live before following the link)
Hopefully this issue is resolved soon. It's keeping me from getting some things done.
