make sure to balance the teams. the reason these pickups are here is becouse u can only enjoy a ctf game when the teams are balanced. so there is no point in grabbing the better players.
i encountered this kind of behaviour in pickups before and it ruins the gameplay for the other team

i get picked to be captain. what do i do?

There's a few ways to tackle this problem.
In my opinion the easiest way is to have the best players to cap. At the moment this is a bit hard as we don't know everyone in the community yet. Moreover we still play on public servers so we have to decide captains before game starts to have someone to call the server.
Another possibility is changing the procedure of picking: at the moment it's 1-1-1-1-1-1. It might be better to have something like 1-2-2-1. Then again, playerlimit on servers are constantly changing so sometimes we play 5v5 ctf ... sometimes 4v4 so basically we would need to wait until we have our own servers to implement this.Long story short, at the moment we have to trust on the captains to pick fair teams and common sense to switch over some players if teams are unfair.

Yeah but often it's just obvious when teams are not balanced.
Someone says...
"hmm teams are not balanced"
Guy in other team says:
"lets just go"
And nothing's fixed.

It is idd also the responability to create fun games for themselves. If the players want to get assraped or pwn the other team into oblivion, the other side should speak up and say: we want a balanced game please. They already should speak up during the picking of players, to make sure captains get enough info to pick balanced.
This way, it still might end up in a pwnage, but at least we tried to balance
Some players on some maps just "work out" very good so the others get no chance, even if they might seem to be the stronger team by statistics.So in short: help eachother and the captains to choose wisely and balanced so you all get a fun game to play.
