I recently started playing quake live and I'm looking to join a ctf team to play/improve with. I'm completely new to the game mode (and ql in general) but I've played both counter strike and tf2 competitively so I have the aiming/movement down pretty well. I think I'll be a pretty strong ctf player with a bit of practice. I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong section, I'm not familiar with the recruiting system in ql. I also had a few questions about the game mode. When playing, do players strictly communicate with binds/chat, or do they also talk through a program such as ventrilo or mumble? Also where do you usually look for matches to play?
