Hi,

I would like to prevent the in game messages when it tells you friends have come online--> offline. it causes me lag.

Any ideas?

on the quake live homepage, go in your profile (where you can type your name, country, tshirt size and all that), at the bottom is a list of popup messages

Are you telling me that printing text to the console causes you lag?
Have you considered upgrading your P1 133Mhz?
