I guess we can all agree Quake Live needs a lot more maps to be really fun to play. Would you like to see complete new maps or remakes of the old maps?
Personally I'd like to see completely new maps to be honest. I mean, we've been playing the Quake III maps for ages now ... time for something new

Without breaking the NDA (such a vague rule tbh) ... I don't really care that much. As long as id software updates new maps frequently and the maps are fun. Ironworks was good, so I know they got the know-how.

Well, by new maps I actually mean maps that are made by people who really know how to make maps. I mean, IDSoftware makes great games but tbh ... they suck at mapmaking.
Threewave should make some CTF maps and the guys from ztn, hub3 ... they should be asked to make new maps
They should make some nice remakes, particuatly for CTF & TDM. Then they should make new ones.
Ironworks is good, but still there are many better maps from q3 which I'd like to see in quake live.
If there's one map I'd like to see again, it's Q3WCP9. They can bring that one back ... for the rest they should make new maps imo
I really think we need new refreshing maps.
Not only because we have been playing those maps for quite a long time now.
It will make the experience gap between new and old skool players smaller.
I think new maps will be a good thing.

It's kinda hard to do a map contest when there is no sdk for players to work with eh :s
And I don't expect mappers to make it in q3radiant or something and then let idsoftware port it to QL

CA2, dm6, ctf7???
CA2 is a fun map on public servers but I do not really see it as a competitive map. It misses a gathering point for the winning team like RA is on DZQM6.
No doubt about it, DM6 is a good map. Although I must admit I am kinda tired of this map after all those years :D.
CTF7 is indeed an ownage map, no discussion about it. I wanna see more of those!
Still, I hope threewave will make some QLCTF maps in the future as well.
