I figured out that it is much harder for me to play quakelive than q3 so maybe it depends on my netsettings. Sometimes the gameplay feels kind of laggy and i got red spikes in the lagometer.
Yesterday i updated firefox to 3.0.10 and it feels somehow more accurate.
I also watched the inofficial and very nice quakelive trailer on holysh1t but i could never do rockethits like this in quakelive.
my settings are:
rate 25000
cl_maxpackets 125
snaps 30

help is very appreciated

Got same settings n they work quite nice for me.

But... had random spikes when i had some scripts turned on in firefox (or perhaps automatic updates etc). Tools - Options etc.

As for hitting targets i think QL has some sort of delag option turned on or similar (quite noticeable with rail) so just needs some "getting used to" i guess.
