Building on my "how to customize your quake live config", I'd like to use this opportunity for you to share your config with the community.
Here's mine. It includes my autoexec, quake live config, HUD, custom crosshair and a readme how to install.
Please do NOT post screenshots of your config as this is not allowed by NDA! Just test the config of other players and discuss what you think of it.

Here's my config: Malice it's used in combination with the emsixteen hud, though I didn't add that in the rar :).
R_picmip 0 (good grafix)
r_mode -2 (good for my widescreen TFT 
cg_drawcrosshair 2 (just a white cross)
cg_drawgun 0 (no gun)
cg_fov 110
Very basic, nothing special 
For the others... I'd enable an upload feature for this forum but I don't want to risk it yet for security reasons (bbpress not 100% stable yet 
). So can't upload yet!

Using just the autoexec.cfg works fine for me.
I commented it heavily and it also contains some scripts some might find usefull.
If you know missing/additional commands or have better explanations for what the commands are doing I would be happy to get them.
Just tested your config, zscan. It's a really good config, well done.
