I dug up my old q3cfg.. and I found this..

bind SHIFT "+vstr zin zout"

set zin "cg_fov 70 ;cg_drawcrosshair 4 ;cg_crosshairsize 49 ;sensitivity 5 ;cg_drawgun 0"
set zout "cg_fov 115 ;cg_drawcrosshair 1 ;cg_crosshairsize 22 ;sensitivity 6 ;cg_drawgun 2"

Is there anyway to get this work in QL ?

bind SHIFT "+zoom"

And set the zoomfov seperately
seta cg_zoomfov "50"

You can then start linking the cmd's

I don't really know much about Q3/QL config editing, but I did know a thing about Q2 editing.
Looks like it's totally different from Q2 where you had to use "Alias"

The sensitivity automatically adjusts

As u can see I have a different crosshair when I press zoom also.. I was wondering how to get it to work
not how i'm binding a key to the zoom....
