QLive.co.cc Duel Tournament
It's raining duel tournaments these days! Because of the lack of private servers - be patient, they will come sooner or later 
- the only game type that is actually doable in terms of running and managing, is duel.
I read on IRC about it this morning and it was posted yesterday on the Quake Live forums, and seeing that in 1 day it has already a decent amount of signups, it's worth mentioning!

because it is a fun prize
not laughing at, but laughing with the prize, it’s fun and beats “for the honor!” or “for the horde!”
