ESAGamer.com is live with Quake Live

June 7, 2013 No comments Article

ESAGamer.com has officially been released into open beta, meaning anyone can register. ESAGamer is a tournament site that will work with free and paid tournaments, based on subscribers. People pay a fixed fee that will be converted into prizemoney for the tournaments. The concept is fairly simple and added up 1000 subscribers will result into £5000 prize money. The more the merrier and ESAGamer guarantees prize money tournaments for low tier players as well, given that they are subscribed, of course.

There will be an automatic ranking system that doesn’t force you to challenge other players, but rather pulls data from the tournament matches. You can however still challenge others and even make a wager for that game. ESAGamer.com claims to have a system in place that will allow lower tier players to be able to play for money on their level and make a fair shot at winning.

Does this sound interesting to you? Then go ahead and subscribe. You can get a paid subscription for as little as 1 month up to a year, which currently has a special offer running. If you want to support eSports and Quake Live, this is how you can do it. Of course the site will also be available to free members who can play in open tournaments, but they will not be able to participate in prize tournaments.

Welcome esports fans to the all-new Electronic Sports Association. We have selected four titles for our early beta operations and launch events and we’re taking this opportunity to give you an insight of what you can expect from us and how we envisage the services we offer. In a nutshell, ESA charge you a subscription and then give it back as cash prizes, so you’ve got real money to pay to play for a fixed fee. As the prize pool is a reflection of the community powers it, ESA ensure it’s given back fairly across separate levels of skill.

The proposed benefits of ESA include:

  • Regular free cash prized tournaments for £5 per month.
  • Cash prizes for all levels of skill.
  • Global ranking system.
  • Real money paid immediately into your online accounts for Pay to Play.
  • 0% Commission on P2P/H2H tournaments/matches.
  • Create your own private brackets and matches.
  • Fast withdrawals powered by ClickandBuy.

Opening tournaments promise

  • We’ll recycle every penny of every subscription into tournaments.
  • 250 subscribers = 1 x £1250 prize pool.
  • Cash Prizes for the top 16.
  • £2000 bonus tournament for each 2000 subscribers (10 max)
  • 4000 subscribers = £24,000 prize pool

And for only a fiver, it’s still pretty good news, even if you lose. The ranking system helps everybody to determine fair tournaments of separate skill. Your match data will mature quickly within the first set of tournaments, so everybody can soon start competing for money against others of relative skill.

It’s also worth a mention that teams are able to play with members who are not subscribed however, if said team places within a prized position of a subscription funded event with members who haven’t subscribed, the team will receive a proportion of the advertised prize pool equal to their teams subscription rate. In addition, any member with a premium account can participate in any game or event we offer, so your subscription doesn’t tie you into one particular game.

As we’re in early beta, your communities are the first to sample our new services fresh out of alpha testing. There may be bugs and occasionally things may go wrong, however, we value your feedback and aim to have problems resolved in quick succession. The early beta version provides a good representation of how we intend to move forward. As we grow and refine our services, you will be glad to know we’ve got more moves up our sleeves to add to the flavour of what we’re doing here. If ESA does not deliver what we promise, you have every right to cancel your subscription.

We hope you like what we have worked hard to achieve. Welcome to the Electronic Sports Association.
