IEM 4 World Championship Conclusion
I know I’m late reporting this, but I didn’t get the chance to watch the semi finals and the grand final live on ESL TV this weekend, so I have been ignoring about every news page or mail message or feed that could possibly spoiler the results of the clash of these titans. And oh boy, some great games have been broadcasted with excellent commentary by ESL.
Although having a rough start, ESL TV managed to broadcast a lot of good games from the 4 days of Quake Live that the IEM4 WC lasted. Having some ddos attack issues on Wednesday, some games were caught up on Thursday.

The groupstage winners ([russia] Cooller and [belarus] cypher) grabbed a spot in the playoff tree automatically but 2nd and 3rd spot needed to do a Best-of-5 relegation game, which happened on Friday afternoon, to see who would claim the other free slot in the semi finals.
In case you want to know who won, just click here for the details on the playoff tree but if you managed to miss out on those last games, than do yourself a favor and go watch them right away!
- Relegation games first [usa] Rapha – [usa] DaHanG, followed by [poland] av3k – [sweden] fox

Congratulations to the winner with the first Quake Live World Champion title! (and a nice cup, oh and yes that 10000$ prize money 😉 )
