spotlight1It’s been a month now since demos have been coming in for the Holysh1t Moment of Fame Quake Live frag video and after a great deal of work, I’ve finished the first edition!

    Well, I think you can get better, more spectacular colors with other config commands. Apart from that, maybe the best QL movie yet. Good movie-music, nice synching, but the best are the frags. Most of them realy nice. Short movie-short opinion :)

    I tried to keep it basic so that it would be as close to the game as possible.
    I will perhaps change a lot for the next movie.

    Nice movie I think the frags were okay there was one or two that i thought were movie quality. I’ll be sending a couple of my demos see what you think. Major props thought was entertaining.

    Some really sweet shots in that vid. Very nice editing and music choice I thought as well. Cant wait for the next one. Guess I’ll have to get out of the pactice arena and into a live game and submit a demo myself =D.

  34. Nice video. I just wanna ask with what do you record them? I’ve tried with fraps but files are too big and conversion to other format like xvid, x264 etc. Although if I wanted to preserve nice quality converted ones were still too big and I was going for reasonable size like 100-200MBs for 15-20 mins video. I tried gamecam and it does a nice work much better than fraps cause it records and encodes directly to desired codec. But still you have to buy the program cause it records only 30 secs, and I don’t have a way of buying it. Also I’ve tried cl_avidemo and then joined them with virtualdub but still the same problem like fraps… too big and too many tga files which slows down computer. hehe, Any help will be appreciated.
